The answer for this question is Yes and No. There is no God for believers and non believers but there is God for people who practically realized. The moment you practically know God you will understand that you are God.
Children of birds are birds, children of rabbits are rabbits and as per religious books we can say that we are children of God. So instead of finding shortcut for our search by believing God, we have to seek and find God practically. Go beyond your belief system and you will find God. Here I say I am also one of seeker to find God. I am meditating daily as much as I can. Any how I am not a victim to God Belief and religious impressions and culture.
